  2. Only Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spotted black bass at least 14” in length will be weighed in.

  3. Contestants entering by mail must check-in with Tournament Officials before fishing to receive a Tournament Decal which must be displayed on their boat or motor in a location visible to other anglers.  ENTERING IN PERSON OR HAVING SOMEONE ENTER FOR YOU IS CONSIDERED CHECKING- IN.  ONCE YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR DECAL, NO FURTHER CHECK-IN IS REQUIRED.

  4. Entry Fees must be paid before any fishing on Tournament days.  No Refunds after March 11th.  Substitution of anglers or day elected to compete will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  5. Boats may be launched at any time from any Cedar Creek ramp location, including Log Cabin Park, but NO FISHING until 7:00 AM each Tournament day.  The only OFF-LIMITS period for FISHING activity is from Midnight to 7:00 AM on Tournament days.

  6. All Contestants must wear a Coast Guard approved life vest when the outboard engine is running.

  7. There is no limit to the number of people fishing in a boat provided there is compliance with Coast Guard regulations.  Wading, small paddle boats, tube fishing, etc. are acceptable fishing methods.  You may have non-Contestants in the boat but they may only assist with the landing net.

  8. Tournament fishing hours are between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM on the days of the Tournament.

  9. Fish must be caught from Cedar Creek Lake during Tournament fishing hours by the Contestant presenting the fish for weigh- in.  All fish must be weighed on the Tournament day when caught.

  10. Fish must be kept in a livewell or on a stringer and must be alive to be weighed-in.  Contestants shall not allow any fish caught by them to be weighed in by any other Contestant.

  11. The Hourly Big Bass contest weigh-ins start with the 7-8 Hour and continue Hourly until the final Tournament weigh-in time of 3:00 PM.  Anglers must be in the weigh-in line before the end of any Hourly period to weigh-in and be eligible for that time interval of the Tournament.

  12. No fishing within 100 yards of the Log Cabin Park ramp.  This area is also a NO WAKE AREA.

  16. All fish become property of the KCKL Bass Tournament for subsequent live release.
